My new theory about Donald J Trump is that he is a secret Communist. His admiration for Putin and Jong-Un and how great he thinks they (and him) are made me come to this conclusion. His wall isn’t really to keep out illegals, it’s to keep us in. Trump wants his own version of the Berlin Wall or the DMZ. (I wasn’t sure where to post this–move if this is the wrong place)
He’s not a secret communist, he’s a not-so-secret authoritarian/dictator-wannabe. That’s why he admires those dudes.
Nah, that doesn’t make him a Communist. It makes him a wannabe totalitarian dictator.

It’s impossible for Trump to be a secret anything. He’d be bragging to the press about how he was the greatest Communist who’s ever lived, and he’s been getting calls from very well-known people, very respected in terms of Communist, who are in tears, saying “Thank you, Mr. Trump, for saving Communism”.
Trump’s political ideology is Conmanism.
Even Communists have principles. Trump’s only principle is Trump First.
That, and he’s unrepentant about being greedy as hell. Not very Communist there.
Can anyone actually imagine Rump believing in a system that has as one of its core beliefs “From each according to his ability to each according to his needs”? Come ON.
Not that Putin and his scumbag cronies do either. Their political philosophy can be summoned up with “What was yours is now mine. Mine, mine, MINE!”

You seem to be assuming that Putin and Kim are Communists. They are anything but, as is Trump.
Yeah, disgraced former president Trump belongs to no group, has loyalty to no one but himself. He also likes tyrants of any persuasion projecting what he wants for himself.

I was talking about communism as practiced, not as written.
Even so, I don’t think that “communist” really is an accurate description of who Trump likes. Remember that he’s also had a lot of praise for guys like Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines, Recep Erdogan of Turkey, and Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, who aren’t communist in the slightest, but who are authoritarian rulers.
Go through all that and not even mention that Melania and Ivanka grew up as Communists?
