Wow, that was certainly a different take on that article than I had.

What I read was, the Dems were aware that an operation was being run against them, and they were trying to find out about it.

I guess that’s incidentally ‘getting dirt’ on the people running the operation, but gimme a break.

Ah, the old “we’re just defending ourselves against those guys” line …

[Our guy] trying to uncover [their guy’s] dealings with Russia = good.

[Their guy] trying to uncover [our guy’s] dealings with Russia = bad.
