I don’t remember seeing anything about Sergei Milian earlier in the thread, and I missed it in the news, but this is all rather interesting:
If Mueller can prove that Millian is Source D or E, Trump is going to have a real bad day.
Right after she told another tall tale, and ended it with “And that’s the truth (raspberry)”.

I bet Robert Mueller can’t fucking wait to talk to Stephen K Bannon. I’m wondering if the feeling isn’t perhaps mutual: maybe Stephen K Bannon can’t wait to talk to Robert Mueller. I’ve wondered if Bannon was just a crazy bastard or if he’s crazy like a fox. Was he smart enough to be the eyes and ears of what went on in the White House and to limit his exposure, or was he exposed?
He’s a shit-disturber, attention is his jones, aggravation his instrument. If no one will come to the press conference of Trump’s bestest friend, maybe they will come for his worst enemy.

I know a lot of folks are just eating all this stuff from the book up, but I wouldn’t believe a word that Bannon says. He, like Trump, is a self-aggrandizing, ego driven arrogant asshole. Maybe he’s stupid enough to think that getting interviewed by Mueller would be “good publicity”.
It looks like Bannon’s backers pulled their money, including the money for his protection detail, in order to get him back on script.
One suspects that there are genuine threats to Bannon’s life out there, so I’m not sure that Mueller would have much to offer him to balance out the risk that Bannon takes by going off script again.
Mueller can offer a subpoena.
While true, the people who you would hope will revise their thinking are the people who think of Bannon as one of the few honest men in the world.
He could put a nice bow on it.
Maybe he has, and maybe he has been for awhile. The premise of this article is that if Bannon truly thinks that the Trump/Russia meeting at Trump Tower was “treasonous” (his words) and that Trump himself was likely well aware of it (again, his words), and that anyone aware of the meeting had a responsibility to alert the FBI (again, his words) then why didn’t he himself go to the FBI.
Unless he did.
You’re assuming that Bannon knew about the meeting at the time.

He brings up an interesting point that Mueller can subpoena all the tapes and examine them for statements that conflict or corroborate what was told to investigators. Could be some juicy stuff there.
