Trump bans CNN and NYT from press briefing.

That’s…diabolical.

I like it. Make it so.

Aint it quite the shit that Faux news junkies are suddenly most supremely concerned about “fake” news???

The job of the press is to make money.

Removed by me. Thought it was a Pit thread.

Along the lines of the press forgetting about the Russia thing, guess what CNN’s lead stories were this morning? Hint…it wasn’t the gaggle. Nor is Pelosi, who was the subject of one of the stories.

Yes. That’s everybody’s job. Except volunteer firemen.

I thought making money was the job of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

I do a better job of making my own money at home. Cheaper, too.

Ain’t it the truth … sure sign of a dull mind. I’ve never seen the man hahaha! out loud … only little sneers and snorts.

What’s your secret? I keep making them too big; I can’t get them to fit in vending machines.

CNN keeps showing footage of that time Obama needled Trump that one year the latter was in the audience.

Yep. “Fake news” is now: most US news networks, pretty much all the international news networks and there’s even been something of a backlash against the one or two Fox news presenters who aren’t quite gushing enough.

We’re so close to the point where the only people you can trust are trump + his cronies, and it seems a significant proportion of people will believe that.

President Snowflake won’t be going to the White House correspondents’ dinner.

Little Donny: “I’m not going because all those nasty people will tease me.”
Steve: “Sure. You can just stay home in your own little safe space, and I’ll tell you how special you are. Not everybody can have a sense of humor.”

Seriously, I’ve seen 10 year old kids with more emotional maturity than Trump.

We must put an end to this particular meme: that Trump surprised us all.

It’s not like the orange jackass pried his way through the white house fence with his tiny little hands and muscled his fat ass through the bars to barge his way into the oval office.

The surprise is in how many ignorant assholes decided to vote for the irredeemable idiot.

No. But, since that was already being done, and you acted like it hadn’t, there is a problem. You even had to rely on faulty information to defend your position earlier. And you had to act like we were all getting upset over something not all that important.

Every report on this explains how this is unprecedented and how it reflects on Trump’s unprecedented attacks on the press. They mention his statements about the press being the enemy of America. They mention him branding all negative press as “fake news.”

Getting angry as things are getting worse is normal. Reserving our anger for only after things have gotten a certain level worse is not useful. Anger is what motivates. A lack of anger means we’ll let Trump get away with things.

Measure twice, cut once. And Trump isn’t on a bill yet.

I might need to share that clip on FB

It has been suggested.

Seconded!!

And those sneers and snorts are likely to have been ‘vindictive pleasure’—rather than genuine amusement at wordplay or incongruity or the other main sources of humor.
