That’s ridiculous. I assume the Don had a plastic surgeon reconstruct his ear. That’s a thing we can do these days.

But wouldn’t that process take a lot longer than a week or two?
And I expect those would bleed more, too.
Okay, now doing my due diligence. So that’s an English language article in a Spanish tabloid and it shows. This is what Dr. Ronny Jackson actually wrote, July 20,
The bullet passed, coming less than a quarter of an inch from entering his head, and struck the top of his right ear. The bullet track produced a 2 cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear. There was initially significant bleeding, followed by marked swelling of the entire upper ear. The swelling has since resolved, and the wound is beginning to granulate and heal properly. Based on the highly vascular nature of the ear, there is still intermittent bleeding requiring a dressing to be in place. Given the broad and blunt nature of the wound itself, no sutures were required.
So, no surgery, no stitches, just there for the bleeding.

Just an aside, I read the title of this thread as “Bloody Trump” with a mental British accent.
^Excerpted from the statement of Dr. Ronny Jackson linked by Max_S.
Here I’d have thought that it was “broad” wounds that WOULD require sutures.
I remain skeptical of anything claimed by Dr. Ronny. And photos of Trump taken not long after the RNC convention–and posted by Pete Souza among others–don’t seem to show anything on that ear. How could healing have occurred so quickly–whether of the original wound or of subsequent plastic surgery to deal with the wound (as has been claimed)?
If Trump indeed underwent plastic surgery, it seems unlikely, to me anyway, that it would have been executed on a still-bleeding wound. Granted, I am no expert on this.
At any rate, I remain unconvinced that Ronny Jackson is a credible source.
Eric the lesser son also claimed that trump had half his ear blown off.
…As if he felt he had TOO much credibility, and had to remedy that situation.
Maybe we are seeing a prosthetic ear?
We’re talking about someone who won’t sit still long enough for makeup artists to apply bronzer correctly (reportedly)
Head wounds - and ears are definitely a part of the head - often bleed out of proportion to the damage done. If the bullet scraped the skin off the surface of Trump’s ear, leaving the structural parts intact, then having it bleed and requiring a bandage for awhile but being intact once healed is plausible.
Was that what actually happened? Damnifino. Not a hill I want to die on.
It makes way more sense than half blown off.
As has already been pointed out about 50 times already in this thread, if you’ve read it. The bigger point is why his son proclaimed half his ear was blown off.
My theory was always he was surprised by the snap of the bullet going past his head so he whipped his hand up to his ear and cut himself on his pedicure.
Pedicures are done to feet, toes and toenails; hands, fingers and fingernails get manicures.
Though, the mental image of Trump trying to stretch his foot up to his head is amusing.
Given it’s usual location, its not that far of a stretch.
Bionic. His ear now has superhuman strength.
I might have happened that way. It’s possible that he nicked himself under the hairline and not on the ear itself. That would explain having an entire, intact ear one week after having half ot it blown off.
So when a shooter has to settle for killing mere spectators, I’m sure Trump will call this plan a huge success.
Hey, maybe he can borrow the Popemobile!
