Dumb question, I know, but is it possible to kill a human with a .22? I associate them with deer shooting. Heard of people getting accidentally wounded on hunting expeditions, but not fatally wounded.

Yes, you can kill someone with a 22.
Then my question is where was he that they could determine who he was and that he was the only one.
I am sure many real life examples will follow but FWIW, Tom Clancy had a scene in Clear and Present Danger where a kid with a .22 kills a cartel heavy with a lucky shot to the back of the head.

You are correct with that. I just never figured folks from my local area were that violent. It’s kind of a quiet, small town area.
They were near enough to the shooter to see it happen

A source who has spoken with a member of the Secret Service tells TMZ, Trump was not hit by a bullet. Rather, a bullet hit his teleprompter and the glass struck him by the ear. We’re also told 2 people at the rally were hit by gunfire and are in the hospital. We do not know their condition. We’re also told the shooter was taken down by Secret Service.

Jesus, Secret Service members talking to TMZ?! That doesn’t instill a lot of confidence in their professionalism for me.

I hate that kind of rhetoric, though drawing causal links from one to the other is basically foolish and impossible.

Secret service are not known to be super professionals. Missed all the news stories about drugs, hookers, and leaving classified info out in the open?
Any gun can kill.
I know no one who seriously deer hunts, and uses a 22. Kinda too small for the deer here.
