This is just infuriating. I just want someone to stand up and object to the lies and distortions. I know that’s not how any of this works, but still… I think I may just have to catch a recap later, this is raising my blood pressure due to impotent frustration. I’ve said before, there’s “spin”, and then there’s “lies”. This is a steaming pile of blatant lies.
Jesus. Now they’re showing “evidence” of Democrats and liberals using violent language against Trump. But they’re not gonna point out that it wasn’t Democrats or liberals storming the Capitol. They really ARE throwing Trump followers under the bus!

Most of the people they’re showing aren’t the President.
Most of them aren’t framing their fight as existential, while accusing their VP (and half the country) of out-and-out treason.

OMG Democrats used the word “fight” too! Because some people have objected, sometimes with threats of violence, to things Trump and his supporters have said and done, then it was perfectly OK for Trump to whip a mob into a frenzy to ransack the Capitol and kill anyone who wouldn’t vote to make Trump king.
This “fight” supercut is beyond ridiculous.
They forgot to edit one closely enough and left in what they were taking about fighting. “Fight covid”. The nerve!
This reminds me of my idiot Trumpist friend who keeps saying “We’ve been hearing for 4 years about Russian interference in the election from the liberals! Why aren’t they talking about it now?” when it comes to the 2020 election results. Except he has no idea that by “Russian interference” we (liberals) mean all of the fake news articles and propaganda bots from Russia that influenced the election. The interference was in the brains of the right, not in the boards of election processes.
People who aren’t the president using the word “fight” in conversation or at rallies doesn’t mean “take baseball bats to the Capitol and fuck the police.” It means something way more nuanced. But we see how their lizard brains take to nuance.

It really is the equivalent of trying to defend a mass shooter by showing 3,000 consecutive videos and stills of a firearm safely locked in a gun safe.

Not only that, but we got treated to the parts of the SAME video just a few minutes later. WTF is wrong with these people? Given that Trump is unlikely to actually pay his attorneys, he sure is getting what he paid for.
Well, that’s the thing. They’re fully aware of his reputation for not paying bills, and figure that since he’s probably going to be acquitted anyway, why bother putting forth anything beyond the minimum effort.
