CNN now reporting about Trump Jr.'s Tweet re the judge’s daughter. Mentions that she worked on the Biden campaign, and suggests that this is an effort at intimidation.

Kids rarely share their parents political views. Taking the opposite side as an act of rebellion is far more common.
Man, when my father was sentenced back in 1982 or so, my sister was still mad at him for putting a loan on her car that she did not approve. However, no matter how mad she was, she still showed up to the sentencing to support his ass.
So, where were Trump’s kids?
Of everything Trump has done to our legal system, this is what offends me the most. His false claim that people who are fervently political in their private lives are unable to administer justice in a fair and impartial manner has damaged this country to a significant extent.

Speculation is the reason the arraignment took much longer than normal was a whole bunch of admonitions or restrictions being imposed regarding reckless threats and intimidation.
