Trump library bribes

How many times has this scenario played out- trump wants money so he pretends to sue somebody, and they settle out of court. Some weren’t serious suits at all, because there was no way he could win. That’s going to be one glorious library.

This is just what I thought when I read that Meta had agreed to a payment of $22 Million for settling Trump’s banning from Facebook after January 6th. Now that he controls the DOJ he just has to sue, everyone will settle for millions.
And silly me thought he already had more gold than he could ever eat!

There are that many colouring books in the world?

Just print thousands of copies of one, he’ll never notice.

Blank pages, color your own books damnit. You expect the government to assist you?

Where do you draw the line?

I imagine a library full of chequebooks, with blank cheques for the Big Beneficiary. And a colouring book or two too. Just watch him sticking his tongue out, his brow sweaty, his tiny fingers holding the colour pencil in a cramp.

Who knows. All we can do is stay calm and crayon

I expect Trump, inc. will be paid handsomely for constructing the library in question.

I think personal lawsuits are going to be a very profitable revenue stream for him. Just like he hits countries with tariffs if they make him angry, he will hit corporations with lawsuits for any perceived injustice. The one against CBS’ 60 Minutes is in process.

Now that he has the transcripts and video footage, he will probably also individually sue the producers, the camera person, the editor and, or course, Harris.

Ironically, some legal observers argue that Trump might now be committing the very sin that he accused Democrats of perpetrating against him—using the power of his incoming presidency to pressure private companies to take actions for his personal benefit. They worry that the companies are agreeing to settlements less from fear that they would lose in court than fear that they would win.
