It should also be pointed out that the characterization of the Straight dope (even the liberal side) as a purely partisan that will ignore facts to attack Trump on anything and defend Biden on anything is also demonstrably false. See this thread for example in which many Trump hating liberals reject the notion of the OP and defend Trump against accusations of voter fraud.
For the most part the SD follows the facts, its just that the facts clearly indicate that Trump is an incompetent narcissistic sociopath and pathological liar.
