Regardless of what you think Trump believes, those 11780 votes DO NOT EXIST. There is no way to “find” them unless you make them up. And I think he knows that and that is exactly what he was implying. Hence Trump saying “there’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, that you’ve recalculated.”

In PA, MI, and WI, the governors are Democrats. It’s the state legislatures that are Republican.
A sitting President can clearly be removed from office, denied a pension, and forbidden from running again. If a former President can be impeached, the same penalties could presumably be imposed. That’s a big if.

Remember how Trump never uttered the phrase “quid pro quo”, therefore it was a perfect phone call and there was no collusion?

As the Lead Stories fact check link shows, context is important. Those votes DO EXIST and have been counted. Trump is referring to what his lawyers believe are INVALID votes cast for Biden… not uncounted votes.

I kinda wish the House would Impeach Trump again. I think we still have enough folks there to do it.
Sure, the Senate won’t Convict him. There won’t be a Removal.
I just like the idea of Trump having been Impeached at the start and the end of his term. It’s like he received an F the first semester and the second semester despite his daddy/mommy blustering.
Proud boy leader has just been arrested, and may face a weapons charge. So possibly no carousing around DC for him in the next while.
