About 3.40:
The evidence before the Court is uncontrovertible
There’s no need for the jury to retire
In all my years of judging I have never heard before
Of someone more deserving the full penalty of law!
The way you made them suffer, your exquisite wife and mother
Fills me with an urge to defecate!
I guess the thing about the mother and wife is some kind of metaphor, the rest I take literally. A great prophet, this Pink.
i would have liked him to ask the president. “what exactly would you like me to do?” “where am i to find the votes you want?” “do i subtract from biden and give them to you?” “how do i do this after the votes have been certified, and electors have voted?”
Imagine for a second what the reaction would be (hopefully) if the Georgia Secretary of State, after the election was certified, and the EC votes submitted, just said one day “we’ve recalculated and Trump won.”
I’ve noted on the other thread that I thought replying to a moderator was private and visible on to the moderator. I’ve tried to delete this but it says I have to wait 13 hours. Why can’t I delete it now instead of waiting? Can a moderator delete it?
Famously there was a poster who left his computer on, and someone else used his SDMB account to post that he enjoys intercourse with sheep. Hal Bristol or something like that was his name.
“Bad data” is the kind, gentle euphemism for it. Many people possessing “bad data” in this fashion are involuntarily committed to psychiatric hospitals.
(for those who have not seen Deep Space Nine, this is an episode where Sisko is trying to trick the Romulans using fabricated evidence so they will join the war… against the Dominion)
If you want to reply to the moderator, you don’t do it by clicking on the “reply” button. Ideally, you’d go to ATMB; a back door method would be to flag the post, and select “something else.” I can’t imagine the mods would enthusiastically endorse this strategy though, because among other things, the message would go to all of the mods on the subforum.
Or, you could learn from this and change your ways…
(I know, I’m still young and naive…)
The analogy would be: instead of arguing with the ref, and following him off the field trying to defend yourself, you could stop and think “Hmmm, if everyone says grabbing facemasks is wrong, maybe I should stop…”
