Trump supporters, a personal plea to please get off the pot

You also don’t believe there can be any reasonable criticism of Trump?

So, if I simply assert that Trump has committed felonies, then that is all the evidence that is needed?

Cool, Trump committed the felonies, and got a pass on them.

There is one other thing. Trump is an incompetent fuck-up and he shows that every day he is in office.

Do you have a benchmark on that?

What types of things could Trump do that could rise to the level of paying people for old inefficient cars, continuing a program from his predecessor, or providing health insurance for millions of people?

What line does trump have to cross, what bill does he have to pass, what war does he have to start before you can bring yourself to criticize him?

Change the (R) to a (D) after his name.

Which of the endless investigations found the evidence? Hey, can you even name the crime?

No, your guys lost all interest after the election. Otherwise, you darn well know what you’d be doing.

Your frustration at not finding any evidence to support what you just know to be true is quite understandable. But a more useful reaction would be for you to consider *how *you came to believe it so strongly, and go on to consider how you can stop being so easily fooled and led.

Meuller’s bowels seem just fine at the moment. And that’s kind of my point. There is an investigation into Trump right now. There is only one thing stopping an investigation of Clinton - Republicans! When you complain about Clinton, you are whining about something not happening that you have complete control over. The Clinton Teflon thing is nothing but a convenient excuse. She is completely vulnerable to an investigation now, and the dems have no power at all to stop it. So where is it.

We are doing as much shitting as is humanly possible (metaphorically speaking, of course) under the limitations we face. Rather than just switch around what I wrote, how about you try explaining what is keeping you from investigating her? There is no barrier of which I’m aware other than absence of evidence.

He was so incompetent when he got Bin Laden and helped rescue the auto industry and economy and gave millions healthcare. So incompetent that his approval rating is still way above Trump’s. I’m so glad he showed that incompetence.

You should let Meuller know those are the only grounds. He can stop issuing no-knock search warrants on former Administration members.

No, you won’t. You don’t know how.

Anyone can be reasonably criticized. I just didn’t agree with the OP, but I did agree with the quote I responded to. I also believe that I may hold whatever opinions I want even though politically, I am in the minority on this board.

Glad to see you break with Clothahump on that. There is plenty of reasonable criticism of Trump, on this board and many others.

There is a lot of criticism of Trump and conservatives in general.

Holy Cow. You actually think the reason people are disgusted with Trump is that he “had the audacity to win the election?” If you skim any one of the 100s of “Clusterfuck Trump” threads here you’ll find many varied reasons completely unrelated to the simple fact he won the election. (his haircut doesn’t make the list either, although it’s fun to make fun of)

I won’t list them all here, but some of my favorites include 1) lying about having a great alternative to the ACA that would cover “everybody” and be so much cheaper than what we have now, and 2) many members of his campaign and administration lying about their contacts with Russians. There are literally dozens of more powerful and interesting reasons we have for “crying about Trump” although we’re not actually *crying *about it. We are doing all we can to stop this incompetent and ignorant buffoon before he does any more damage.

Trump finally speaks out on Russia’s kicking out hundreds of diplomats:

“I want to thank him because we’re trying to cut down on payroll, and as far as I’m concerned, I’m very thankful that he let go of a large number of people, because now we have a smaller payroll. There’s no real reason for them to go back. So I greatly appreciate the fact that we’ve been able to cut our payroll of the United States. We’ll save a lot of money.”
-[del]Neville Chamberlain[/del]Donald Trump

Got anything to say, Clot-humper?

I just read something today, about some asshole judge deciding to re-open that fucking “email thing” again, because Benghazi.

Fucking people.

Could Trump suck Putin’s dick any harder??? He’s a fucking traitor. At this point, his supporters are traitors too.

It would make sense to ask us to shut up about Trump if we were just discussing all the old stuff he did. But he’s still in office, and we are discussing everything bad he is still doing.

Telling us to shut up is telling us to ignore the bad things he is doing. And they are really bad. Our country is closest to World War III than ever. Trump is going nuts and directly antagonizing North Korea. He’s giving them every reason to think they will be attacked, which means they have no reason not to send out their bombs. And once nukes are dropped, World War III is not far behind.

We are attacking Trump because we need to get rid of him. He is a clear and present danger to the United States and the World.

It has nothing to do with him being a “conservative,” because he isn’t one. He’s a psychopath. You elected a guy who doesn’t have the morals you show yourself to have. Why? Why did you elect such a horrible person who we knew was stupid and crazy and hotheaded and would harm our country?

We will keep on about Trump until you guys disavow him, because we’ve got to get rid of him. Time is up, now. We have to get rid of him before he kills us all.

I’m not exaggerating, either. This was literally the same argument I made before the election. I thought people would care enough about this country that they’d either not vote or hold their noses and vote for the sane person who they didn’t agree with instead of the psychotic, narcissistic man child.

Trump is evil. He cares only about himself. You knew this. You knew he would not do anything to “Make America Great,” but you voted him in anyways.

So, join the ever increasing anti-Trump conservatives, or yeah, we’ll keep going on. Someone has to get us under at least a sane president.

I mean, I’m for impeaching Trump, which would leave Pence in power. I don’t agree with Pence about pretty much anything. But that has nothing to do with this. Trump is evil. Pence at least cares about this country. Pence is at least smart enough to listen to people under him. Pence won’t be constantly worried everyone is out to get him.

He’s at least someone like previous Republican presidents, not a full blown psychopath who colludes with other countries.

That’s unfair, IMO. I think he’s wrong, but I don’t see him sucking Putin’s dick. I see him telling Putin “you want to hurt us? Well you didn’t actually hurt us, so na-na!” He’s thumbing his nose at Putin.

Still not the right response–the response of a child, and provoking Putin to do more. But it’s not kissing up. It’s thumbing his nose at him.

Sorry but I have to call you on this one. Because that’s the whole point of this thread.

Trump won the election and he is the President. He has a Republican majority in both houses of Congress. He even got to name a Supreme Court Justice.

So if Donald Trump thinks Hillary Clinton broke the law, he’s in a position to do something about it. In fact, it’s his job to do something about it and he swore an oath.

It was one thing when he was a private citizen and a candidate. He had no legal authority then. All he could do was publicly accuse her and promise to do something about it when he was elected.

Well, he was elected. It’s no longer enough for him to make promises. Now he has to do the job.

And if he feels he can’t charge her with any crimes, he needs to stop accusing her of crimes.

I hate to turn on one of my own, but someone has to say this: the three branches of the US government are not “President, House, and Senate.” They are executive (the prez), the legislative (House and Senate) and judicial (Supreme and lower federal courts).

Mr. **Hump **? I hope I’m not on your Ignore-list because I do enjoy reading your posts. I hope you will answer k9bfriender’s question. Does El_Kabong sum up your view?

My interpretation was that Club33 was saying that Trump has control of all three branches of the government and a majority in both houses of Congress. I realize saying a President has control of the Supreme Court is arguable but five of the nine justices were appointed by Republicans so I think it’s acceptable for somebody to claim the Republicans currently control all three branches.

Yes, I’m well aware, just clumsy wording on my part. I wasn’t speaking of the House and Senate as if they were two of the three branches, just two parts of one.
