Trump tweets his term should be extended by two years to compensate him for the Mueller coup attempt

I don’t know how to quote from Twitter, but apparently Jerry Falwell Jr tweeted that Trump should get two years added to his term to compensate him for the attempted coup, and Trumpski has jumped on it and re-tweeted it.

Trump. Our fearless twitter typer in chief. He’s a fucking moron, you know. (Of course you know that.)
I don’t know. It’s a fucked up time in our country. Things that are laughably in-fucking-sane are embraced and defended and supported and perpetuated by Republicans who want lower taxes for the richest among us. Vote, people, OK?

(Here’s a cool thing to take your mind off things. Let The Music Do The Talking by the Joe Perry Project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZVkzvkGeLIo )

Then Obama deserves another eight years to make up for GOP obstructionism. And Garland takes Gorsuch’s seat on The Supreme Court.

I believe he’s what’s known in the biz as a “constitutional conservative.”

No I don’t.

I’m pretty sure that persons of below-average intelligence, by any reasonable definition of intelligence, don’t win a U.S. presidential election despite being outspent 2-1.

Trump is hoping to win re-election legally but keeping his options open. That doesn’t show loyalty to the U.S. Constitution, but as a matter of self-interest, it is smart.

Trump: Tap tap tap on twitter twitter twitter. Field questions at a press conference? Oh hell no, that requires tactical and strategic thinking and speaking. Trump is a fucking doofus idiot.

Ignoring with the fact that “self-interest” isn’t very high on my list of desirable qualities for the POTUS, if he doesn’t win re-election legally, what options do you think he should have?

“Smart” in the same way that corrupt dictators are “smart” when they order their opponents jailed and executed.

So in that way, Trump is “smart”.

A kidnapper is “smart” when they kill the victim and dispose of the remains, so the kidnap victim cannot identify them in court.

“Smart” kidnapper. “Smart” Trump.

Depends on how dumb the motherfuckers who vote for him are, don’t it?

Trump hired Manafort, Flynn, Bannon, Spicer, Kelly, Scaramucci, Priebus, Gorka, Tillerson, Mattis, Giuliani and on and on…

Why o why can’t people see his genius?

Me? In an ideal world, his only option would be to relinquish office, but he does have other options.

I just read Rick Reilly’s Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump. If you believe that book – and I do – Trump gets the Secret Service to rush ahead and throw his golf balls out of the rough and onto the fairway. So they are already showing improper loyalty to DJT. We don’t know how much further in that direction they would go.

My strong suspicion is that if the AP, NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN are all projecting a Trump loss on Wednesday Nov. 5, 2020, Trump will be telling everyone it was unfair and FoxNews will be saying that it’s up to us to decide who won. Then we get a complicated ballet where Trump recruits competing electoral college slates, and a game occurs with Mike Pence having a role. The fact of Trump being physically in the White House gives him an advantage.

Maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll flee to some country (Dubai?) where he’s got a fancy golf club, and stay there.

He treats brown people like garbage, which is all his base genuinely cares about.

Many of us think the Mueller report indicates that Trump should have his term of office reduced by two years.

This is mostly just ranty. Moving from GD to The Pit.

[/moderating]

I think I should get two extra years of life just for having had to put up with this fucking jabony.

Well since he is, by his own humble estimation, the greatest president in history, an extra two years is the least that a grateful nation could bestow on him.

He should be careful what he wishes for. Moving Presidential election to even-numbered years when the Winter Olympics are held means people won’t have Summer Games to distract them from the Republican National Convention.

I’m pretty sure he’ll want a second six-year term as well so it’ll balance out.

Jerry Falwell, Jr. That figures.
