Trump’s latest twitter meltdown is indicative of a few things:

1. Trump is really running scared, and knows that there is more information linking him DIRECTLY with Russian involvement in the elections. Perhaps Trump had phone conversations with certain Russians during the election. He is now shit-scared that these will come out. It’s possible that recordings (of Russians) were being made by other government intelligence agencies, and these caught Trump taking to their targets. Trump Being Trump, he is going on the attack.

2. Trump’s mental state is deteriorating, and he is now suffering from paranoid delusions, if not outright psychosis.

3. Trump continues to monitor far-right lunatic websites and radio shows, and one of these nut-cases threw this theory out recently just as chum for their stupid readers/listeners. Trump, being one of those stupid readers/listeners ate it right up.

Personally, I think #3, with a dash of #2.

I doubt Trump views liberals as enemies of the state, or even much cares who is an enemy of the state. He’s just lashing out at whoever seems to be an enemy of him personally, and that’s pretty much everyone who hasn’t publicly recognized his greatness or hasn’t publicly recognized it enough. If he’d run and won as a Democrat (not a far-fetched hypothetical at all, I figure), it’d be the most recent Republican president who’d persecuted him.
