I’m about as confused as everyone else. How could it be a “simple mistake”? The voter registration people somehow registered him, even though he does not reside in the state? He got on the voter rolls completely accidentally? I just don’t get how on earth this could be a “simple mistake”. Walk me through it.
I asked a question above about whether a tick box or another full voter registration form was required while registering to vote when getting a driver’s license. What exactly do you expect me to “walk you through”?
OK, here’s the confusing part then:
Even IF a simple tick box was all that was required to register to vote in the state of Florida…
By getting a Florida driver’s license with a FALSE ADDRESS where he was not living, Bannon would then be JUST AS GUILTY of voter fraud as if he’d filled in a voter registration form with that same address.
One cannot absolve him of the blame, and call it a “simple mistake” if he got a FAKE ADDRESS Florida driver’s license.
How it can be “a simple mistake” to accidentally tick a check box on a form on which he was already perjuring himself.
Earned income yes, taxes are due where the money is earned. Unearned income, like dividends and interest are subject to the tax in the state the person resides.
Because maybe he only meant to perjure himself to get a drivers license or meet some child visitation requirement and it was an accident to register to vote.
It is pretty annoying whenever I question a small portion of some new gotchya everyone here is blissing out on you all assume I am some evil Trump supporter.
Perhaps if it continues to happen-- over and over and over and over-- it’s not us.
Florida Voter Registration is a separate form.
But you know what? Maybe it is. When I’ve been derided as a Trump supporter, a Sanders supporter and a Clinton fanboy my self reflection has astoundingly not concluded “maybe they’re all right”. The most reasonable conclusion is that a large group of you are pots and pans banging partisans who attack any deviation.
Through your tone and content in these threads, you come across as: a) a Trump apologist, b) always angling for a fight or c) both a & b. That’s all we have to go on, are the words you’re putting on the screen, and if you think everyone has you all wrong, perhaps it’s not us, it’s you.
ETA: I’ve never noticed you before these Trump threads, so I can’t speak to what people think of you outside of these.
No, it’s you. I have said many times that I prefer a Clinton win and have never been an apologist for Trump. This thread is a perfect example. Simply asking about voter registration at the DMV is ragged on as apologizing for Trump.
I’m sorry you feel so disrespected and misunderstood by so many people.
I’m thinking another word Trump apparently doesn’t know the meaning of is “vetting.” Sweet, delicious irony.
Thanks but the respect of an unthinking pots and pans banging partisan isn’t very important to me.
Well, I know which one I’m picking.
Have you a comparison to offer? Some message board, perhaps, where you are assured of warm and cordial welcome? Like to check that out, if only to satisfy the itching of curiosity neurons.
Great! I assume that’s supposed to be an insult?
Ooh. Snap.
Merely my assessment of your assessment.
That’s enough, both of you.
Yeah. For one vote?? Doubtful. But to avoid state income tax? That’s a problem. A big problem, at least to me.
We should just ask for his tax returns. Oh, right…
