The much lesser goal was to broker a deal, and since they had no actual intention of doing so, the other major goal was to infuriate Zeleksky and provide a weak-ass excuse to step aside and let Russia do whatever the hell they want. The meeting was a win/win for Trump, letting Republicans blame Zeleksky and manufacturing a reason to withdraw badly needed help.
Apparently Zelenskyy is going to be interviewed on Fox News tonight.
Hopefully, just maybe, he can make some progress with the brain worm crowd.

Isn’t it odd how many times a win/win for Trump (and Russia) is a lose/lose for America? What a strange coincidence.
Russia doesn’t give a flying fuck about the welfare of the United States, and finally they control a President that also doesn’t give a flying fuck about the welfare of the United States.

I’ve said this before- Trump said in a speech that the sniper missed him because it was God’s wiil. I agree. Trump is divine punishment. What are we being punished for? Probably for electing him.

Zelenskyy is a former comic, not a brain-dead car accident victim. That Trump’s guarantees aren’t worth toilet paper they are wiped on is pretty much self-evident to anyone with three out of five senses.
