Nice try? You said you applaud them and link to an article saying they had just released all these numbers and addresses. If you wanted to condemn their tactics you could have made a post more than one sentence long. It’s not like this is the first time Anonymous’ target has been some jerk. So you didn’t applaud them when Westboro Baptist Church was their target? ISIL? Child porn sites?
Not exactly; it is The Economist owned by The Economist Group which is partly owned by the Rothschild family (who, BTW, have always figured heavily in anti-Semitic conspiracy theories – understandably or at least inevitably, as they have for centuries been the most famous Jewish banking family in Europe).
No, he wouldn’t. He’d be less conservative, but there is nothing about that man that is moderate.
As I’ve said before: Cruz would set us back, since he’s conservative, and therefore anti-progressive. Trump would destroy the country. He rejects reality itself and says whatever the fuck he wants.
Just because Trump’s chance of winning isn’t over 50% doesn’t mean it’s 0% or even close. Last I checked, he had around a 25% chance of winning if he became the nominee. That’s way too high for comfort, even though chances are that he won’t win.
Look, I still have faith in at least the non-Republicans in the US to show the slightest bit of morality and not vote for a cartoonishly evil man. Hell, the majority of Republicans still don’t currently support him. But that doesn’t allay the fear that I’m totally wrong. I was wrong about what the Republicans would allow, so I could be wrong about what the Democrats and Independents will allow. And that extra “loyalty” aspect to conservative morality might result in people voting Trump because they think it’s their duty.
Compared to Trump, Cruz is not remotely scary. While I would not like him as president, the Republican platform is not one that would destroy the country. Trump’s platform is.
And then there’s what a Trump win means about the people in this country. It puts a whole kibosh on the liberal idea that people are generally good. It takes nearly a majority of the voting population to elect the President. It would mean at least 40% of people are willing to elect what is probably the first evil aligned viable candidate.
The only hope in a Trump presidency would be that everyone else in government stops him at every turn–or it turns out that he’s been playing a fake character his entire life.
The article sets out their rationale for the rating. Which part do you dispute?
You joke, but the problem is that it could plausibly be from a LWNJ, a RWNJ, a non-partisan-but-still-crazy NJ, or even from someone in the Trump camp looking to create some further drama. The second option is probably the least likely in my view but nothing would surprise me when it comes to the Trump campaign.
It has to be mentioned here that one very ugly thing has been that more than a few professional deniers of climate change like Tim Ball are authoritarian and project the Fascist ideals that they have to their enemies. Even if they are Jewish (Some important climate change scientists are Jewish and they have been specially targeted by the paid merchant of doubt and it has to be noted here that a very similar thing has been done by the Trump followers to Bernie Sanders).
Seeing the weapon’s grade ignorance showed in the Town Hall meeting by Trump it is clear to me that Trump and minions do continue to use weasels like Tim Ball and WUWT as their sources of ignorant information.
Come to think of it . . . of all pols or candidates American or foreign whose names I have even heard of in the past 20 years, Donald Trump is far and away the one whom it would easiest to believe is a Lizard Man.
The entire piece is hyperbolic. I give it no more credence that all of Hillary’s critics portrayal of her as The Greatest Danger in History. It’s how politicians always try to frame their most challenging opponents.
Man, people really love their acronyms around here. Those took me a moment.
Yes, all of that is possible. I would put a lot of money down on the bet that it was someone motivated by all of the Trump=Hitler bluster that the media has been piping out 24/7.
My previous post BTW does fit too in explaining where in heck Trump is finding his racist Tweets, They come very likely from very unsavory places of the Internet that are true crank magnets and Trump loves to go to those places. Or Trump just have very bad friends that send them very ugly tweets that then the twit re-tweets.
IMHO Trump must have assistants that already have saved him of even more embarrassing tweets or instagrams.
Yup. Riots only get violent when the stooges of the Establishment try to stop the righteous gathering of the Citizens. That’s when all hell breaks loose.
Just like Cliven Bundy. The cat’s just standing there. If you grab the cat’s tail and it tries to walk away, don’t be surprised to get scratched. The cat is, after all just being a cat. You’re the one who grabbed the tail, you meany trouble-seeking Establishment types.
You have to wonder about folks who try to use schoolyard “logic” and rhetoric in real world adult politics.
