Trump's Republican primary campaign

You had me at “tacos and whiskey”.

I interpret this to mean you think Trump will do well in all four?

Yes.

Well, it’s a testament to the strength of his campaign among Republican primary voters. As yet, that’s all it means.

Also,

Dude. Stahp.

You know, I really think that when Qin gets to about 30 or so, assuming that the SDMB still exists, he’s going to be a really valuable poster. He’s smart, he studies, he learns, he communicates. It’s just that when he joined us he was going through his teenage phase, and now he’s going through his college phase, each of which has tempted many of us to drown him in his cradle.

That said, I agree. “Lamestream?” Yeah, stop.

To be fair, what it sounds like to me is that Trump is replying to that specific interviewer, who showed a small excerpt of the program. Trump was trying to say that guy was distorting the conversation by leaving out all of the lengthy discussion about Chris Matthews’ religious beliefs and whatnot.

Except Trump is the one distorting the conversation, because all of the stuff about Chris Matthews’ religious beliefs and whatnot were him trying to deflect and distract from the topic, but Chris wouldn’t let him get away with it and kept returning to the question, what do you, Mr. Trump, believe on this? Are you going to try to change laws to meet your beliefs?

Frankly, I’m more annoyed by his use of the term “corporatist”, which he’s smart enough to know the actual definition of instead of using it in the stupid way which is a half-shade off equivocating anything mainstream with Fascist Italy.

If you want to say “oligarchy”, do it. Otherwise, you’re just making a fool of yourself.

Nope.

You’re wrong.

I loved Trump’s reading of “The Snake.” Of course, he doesn’t realize the irony of how aptly it applies to him.

It looks like the voters that disagree with the moral of his snake story might be outnumbered by those who agree:

Among all voters, 46% favor a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, while 40% are opposed. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.

Not my meaning in the slightest. Also, you might want to use polling data more recent than three months ago. That’s one (1) week after the San Bernardino shootings.

Nice try, though. Next…

Ok, but even today there are gems. Check this one out:

140 words. 902 characters. 1 sentence. Awesome. A little crude, but it did ID Fiorina’s essential phoniness and the underlying ridiculousness of Republican military posturing. As well as about 37 other things.
More seriously, I can see Qin morphing into someone scary-smart/talented. Or merely a solid poster here. Not a bad range.
Heh: “Minnesota Nice evangelical pietists”.

Sorry, that poll is actually four months old (but still, as it states explicitly in the article, a week after the attack). I’m still in a March frame of mind.

Despite Trump’s unfavorable ratings with women in general, some women are very enthusiastic about his candidacy. They even have a Twitter account – “Babes for Trump.”

A few of the pictures are NSFW.

Here’s one in particular.

Because we all know most hot girls are experts on politics. Puh-leez.

Cheezus.

This is my rifle, this is my gun…

I don’t think anyone else has posted this yet:

It’s gross, but also illustrative of how Trump views women. Basically the only way he views women is through sexualization. If someone could find a clip of him ever complimenting a woman and the compliment was totally based on her accomplishments and not her looks, I’d be quite surprised.

But I don’t think the Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous clip will have any affect other than make people already grossed out by Trump even more grossed out.

And to make those enthused of Trump even more enthused of Trump.

He is the limit-case personification of the id that millions of men are repressing with varying degrees of success.

What’s worse, in some sense, is that he’s also what a non-insignificant number of women honestly want out of a man, and perhaps honestly believe that all men are really like that and are constrained from acting like it by those Damned Liberals.

Rudy Giuliani is voting for Donald Trump.
