Trying out a candy cane- Can you guess the flavor?

I just checked, and it is none of those…though the person that gave me mine got the possum flavor for her husband.

Green gray, eh…? Pesto might be interesting in cane form but that’s kind of a dip. Same for horseradish/wasabi, too.

Lemongrass?

My favorite has always been Green Apple, which is green with stripes of grey.

Cherry and Lime would be my runners-up.

Remember-It wasn’t clam, but it was close.

Oyster? I know there used to be oyster ice cream.

Surely if we’re heading down this road, it has to be Lobster - no?

j

ETA: or - please, God, no - Sushi?

We know who makes it-Archie McPhee.

No, but it is definitely seafood.

Mussels.

Archie McPhee has mussels?
No, not mussels.

Escargot?

(I must say, the possum flavor both intrigues and offends me. :slightly_smiling_face:)

Oh, Shrimp dip flavored?

Here is the link to what I got yesterday: Sardine Candy Canes | Archie McPhee – Outer Layer

BTW, if you want to see pictures My Beloved, Renee Pinnick, just posted pictures on her Facebook page.

Bristling with flavor!

I’d be curious to try but just need maybe an inch or two cracked off of one.

Yuck.

I could see my cats liking those.

I’m thinking of a recipe for which I’d use it. I’d crush the candy, mix it with sour cream, spices and put it on some bread/crackers.

Actually maybe a smear of mascarpone would be better. It would definitely need some cream to meet up with the funk we’re talking about.
