Accchhh. Sad.
What a terrible shock. I can’t think of anything that would make sense. Goodbye Jenny.
I didn’t deal with her at all but she was a fixture here and evidently much beloved by those who interacted here or have a larger presence on the board. Condolences.
@basslinemz…If some one would set up a go fund me page. Many people here will donate and quickly.
Maybe you could do that for Jenny’s mother.
Just come back in a post a link.
Thanks for joining.

And flights of angles sing thee to thy rest.
I just wanted to point out a stupidly obvious thing that ultimately doesn’t matter, but: 65 is way too young.
Shocked and deeply saddened to lose such a kind, helpful and friendly person.

What has always stayed with me when seeing a TubaDiva post were what have been said over and over here. Kindness and patience. Such sad and shocking news.
Please do let us know what we can do to help her family. Are there people who can help Jenny’s mom deal with the legal/logistical stuff? Given Jenny’s age, her mom must be in her late 80s or thereabouts, and people at that age tend to need a lot of help with that side of things, no matter how capable they once were.
Please. Just point us in the right direction.
Shocked when I saw the thread title. Dreadful news.
I never interacted much with her but she always seemed so capable and able to deal with whatever came her way.
As a longtime lurker I’ve never had any interaction with her. But I’ve always admired her dedication and steady hand, and know how much she was loved here. I am so sorry for the SD community’s lost, and wish her friends and family peace.
Just adding another voice to those who will miss her.
I am still reeling from this. I always come to this board first thing in the morning, but now I feel sad before I open it. Kind of like coming home and knowing your mom isn’t in the kitchen anymore. And won’t be. The house feels so empty.
Jenny/Tuba…? You made it possible. I can’t say one word else in your honor as the Board and its success was your life’s work and it (and those of us changed by it) are your legacy.
Rest Well, Fallen Hero!
If y’all haven’t seen today’s Close to Home, I think it’s something she’d have appreciated. It gave me both a smile and a sniffle.
Goodbye Boss of all the Bosses, sweet, witty, clever, with an open heart, it hurts that you’re gone!
Sad and shocking, my condolences for her family.
Indeed. We’ve lost the best of us.
I last exchanged emails with her just over a week ago. She was helpful, I told her how grateful I was to her for all she did. I’m so glad I had that chance to let her know that. She thanked me for being me.
I also last sent her an email on July 1, letting her know some issues had arisen again with the board but seemed to be resolved. I thanked her again, and was hopeful that her lack of reply was due to her getting some well earned rest.
