I’m not familiar with the term “Aloha shirt”, but I was presuming the same thing. What was confusing about what I wrote? My first sentence was referring to T-shirts (the thread topic), not Hawaiian shirts (the topic of a few posts just before mine).
You really can`t see a difference between those jeans and nicely cut ones that fit well? I can see the sneakers being harder to ‘get’ for some people.
What squicks me is seeing a semi-derelict guy - maybe developmentally hung up, maybe just socially - whose person and clothing are greasy/dirty but whose shirt is tucked in. Typically he’s fat, under a tight belt, and a bit childish-looking. It looks really OCD/insecure.

I’m missing the “depends” alternative in the poll.
T-shirts worn with jeans, cargo pants or shorts are of course worn untucked.
If I’m wearing a nice T-shirt under a sport coat/blazer and over some nice pants or chinos, I tuck.
Many of my polo shirts have splits in the sides and something resembling tails, and I tuck those.
Polo shirts without tails are worn untucked.
Inside my house, I never tuck.
