I have a little Turkish-style coffee pot (small with a long handle). It is made from 18-8 stainless steel. The handle is stamped “4”. 4 what? Cups? It holds about 9 cl.
Possibly. Google says that four US cups is 0.946353 liters.
Yet 9 cl = 0.09 liters exactly.
The closest seems like it could be 4 ounces or similarly sized measure. Is there a standard for Turkish coffee? I have absolutely no idea in which country the pot was manufactured.
I had an ibrik [Turkish coffee pot] set, the ibrik, a tray and 4 glass in holders - each glass was about 4 oz. This is copper, mine was silver, and glass cups and a large round tray, and the metal work was similar on the ibrik and the cup holders.
