In Word 2013, when I hit Page Down, the document slides rapidly downward with an acceleration period at the beginning and a deceleration period at the end. It’s making me sick (I have a balance disorder). Is there a way to turn this special effect off, so the screen just changes suddenly with no impression of falling?
This should do it for you:
Go to the Ease of Access Center in Control Panel (Windows key-U to get there quickly).
In The Explore All Settings group, click “Use this computer without a display”
Check the box for “Turn off all unnecessary animations (when possible)”
