I forget how they met, but my grandfather knew Forrest Tucker-- I mean, really counted him among his friends. Anyway, he had to watch F Troop any time it was on. So I have seen most episodes of it.

My grandfather had a photo postcard (getting them made was a thing once upon a time) of himself and Forrest Tucker in LA, with both their signatures on it. Tucker was really very good-looking when he first started in the business.
