TV-Link Game

modelled after Movie Game V

first person names a TV show
second person names an actor from the show
third person names a different show that actor was in
etc
etc
etc

For this game sequels, spinoffs, retools, etc will be allowed ***BUT * ** must be separated by at least 50 posts.
another rule - The actor **cannot ** follow a show with his/her name in the title - AND a TV show with an actor’s name in it **cannot ** follow that actor.

so I’ll start

The Dick Van Dyke Show

Morie Amsterdam

Morie…Amsterdam…hmm…

Anyone else willing to make this a bit easier on us by starting off with Mary Tyler Moore…? You can branch off a lot of different ways with her…

That’s Morey Amsterdam.

The Morey Amsterdam Show

Very well then.

Art Carney.

And the rules get shattered with post number four…

"Honeymoon Suite"

a third rule - animated series are acceptable (therefore an actor who only lent voice to a series is acceptable)

How about people who guest starred in a TV show? Are they legal?

Regulars (leads/secondaries) and recurring supporting (like Janice on Friends) only please

the Jackie Gleason Show

Tina Louise

Tina Louise, The Jckie Gleason Show, and Art Carney are all invalid because “The Morey Amsterdam Show” violated one of the rules

Once again, the Rules

[ul]
[li]The actor cannot follow a show with his/her name in the title - AND a TV show with an actor’s name in it cannot follow that actor[/li][li]Regulars (leads/secondaries) and recurring supporting (like Janice on Friends) only please[/li][li]animated series are acceptable, therefore an actor who only lent voice to a series is acceptable[/li][li]sequels, spinoffs, retools, etc will be allowed BUT must be separated by at least 50 posts.[/li][/ul]

Please stick to these rules, they’re not that hard.

the play so far:

Charles Nelson Reilly

Are game shows legal? Y’know, someone who was a near constant (perhaps actually constant) guest like C. N. Reilly?

no, because they’re not playing a charcter

The Ghost And Mrs Muir

Hope Lange

Knight and Daye

The New Dick van Dyke Show

Too slow, so “The New Dick Van Dyke Show” is back in play.

Foer “Knight and Daye”, let’s go with Mason Adams

Morningstar/Eveningstar
(and I notice his next role was in Northstar)
