US or UK version?
South Park. There, I’ve said it. Little kids talk dirty and one of the characters is literally a turd. Oh, what drollery!
when did South Park get cancelled?
Y’know, I’m not sure they have. Wish fulfillment on my part, prolly.
After seeing Jimmy Kimmel act smug despite being unfunny and untalented on his other shows, I’m enjoying seeing him stink up the airwaves on that stupid talk show of his. He’s nervous, his show sucks and he knows it. I’m enjoying watching this loser flop.
Hell, Snoop Dogg was better just being the sidekick of the week. Ditch Kimmel and give Snoop his own talk show (not that Tom Green/Jamie Kennedy ripoff I saw on MTV late one night), just have that seven second delay handy.
You need to watch more Farscape. It could get much, much, much worse.
Evil Death - American, natch (being an American myself).
I’ve never seen the original, but the stateside show became unwatchable after about two eps. And that’s being generous. I’m pretty sure a show about guys who embody the worst male traits could be made funny, but MBB was content to just throw them in contrived situations and pick them apart. I’ve never liked mean-spiritedness for its own sake, and I’m always glad when these emotionally dead shows do their inevitable crash and burn.
Reading between the lines, I’d say it sounds as if you don’t like Courage The Cowardly Dog.
I’m not going to say you’re out-of-it, but you do have my pity.
You should try and get hold of the original. The first series was fairly naff, but after Neil Morrissey joined the cast it became much better. It’s not always funny, but there are times when it’s utterly hilarious.
