Twenty Years Ago Today I Gave Up Smoking

I’ll bet I win! After smoking for 9 years (about a pack a day), quit cold turkey in 1959. Had no problem with withdrawal.

Back then you could buy a carton - carton, not pack - of Camels just outside of St. Louis for $2.50. One of these days I’m going to calculate how much money quiting has saved me in the last fifty-one years.
