Give it up. They’ve made it clear that her idiosyncratic brand of hodgepodge moderating, for some reason, is what they want.
I know but, I mean come on, she didn’t even say their posts were assholish. It’s not the moderating in this case, it’s calling them names outside the pit. Even for a mod how is this ok?

She’s obviously going nowhere anytime soon. I’m pretty sure the rest of the mods view her as the canary in the coal mine. As long as she still has a mod-hat, they know they’re safe from losing their’s.
You’re right, I shouldn’t have said that. Since no one reported the post, neither I nor, apparently, either of the other MPSIMS mods was aware that there was an objection to what I said. I will leave it to the other mods from that forum as to whether disciplinary action, in the form of a mod note or warning, is necessary.
In the meantime, I will apologize to the people I called assholes.

For future reference, one of the rules on this message board is that we are not to call other posters names outside the Pit. Typically admonishments about this come along with statements such as, “And as a poster since 2002, you know this.” FYI.
Names, schmames, she got on Procrustus’ and Two Many Cats’s cases for being political when the OP started it off by slagging on Obama. Is MPSIMS so fluffy now that we can’t even say, ‘I disagree with your statement’ without being considered an asshole?

And what was that remark she made about “Even a (something) pig can…”? (Parentheses added) I believe it was supposed to be for the eyes of mods only, but was posted here by mistake. The very fact that she felt comfortable doing that behind posters’ backs told me a lot.
Her M.O. now seems to be snarky and then apologize and claim that neither she nor the other mods on that forum knew that calling a person an “asshole” was offensive? Then why is she a mod?
