Meh, maybe a move to the Pit would normally have been better than closing it, but since there are already plenty of gun threads there, closing it was a reasonable move, IMO.
Maybe we need a Gun-related Omnibus Thread in the Pit, so that the various threads like those can just be dumped in there. It’s not like such a move could make the ongoing discussions any worse than they already are.
Check out post 6 to see an early train-wrecker. Think maybe that’s why there were no warnings instead?
