Twin Smokers BBQ (ATL)

Amazing restaurant. The brisket was better than anything I’ve ever eaten.

What I am wondering about though is the mac and cheese. It was similar to what I’ve always had, but as this is the first time I’ve been down south, it was also different.
Recipes for “Southern Mac and Cheese” seem to include eggs, which I have never seen before. Would that be the difference, compared to a roux?

I can’t help you with the Mac and Cheese question, because I’m too distracted by the REAL issue here.

The brisket.

Have you had Community Q in Decatur? If so, how does Twin Smokers compare? I will literally drive across this freakin city for a good brisket.

Unfortunately, I was only in Atlanta for the weekend. But I will say the brisket at Max Lagers wasn’t in the same universe.

I would make a trip back to go there again, so I think you should definitely go across town
