Twitter: Popular in my network

I just received an email from Twitter, informing what is (obviously according to their inquiry) “popular” in my “network”. It’s an eclectic choice and I haven’t got the faintest idea about how they came up with this since I don’t have any connection with these places, individuals or organizations:

  1. @usembmongolia (this is the U. S. Embassy in Ulan Bator, Mongolia; I’m embarrassed to admit that I know little about the current state of American-Mongolian relations)

  2. @shortyawards (this appears to be a company specializing in marketing on social media, but I’m not sure, I’ve never heard of them)

  3. @LargoNews (Largo is a town in Florida, I looked it up)

  4. @Cherwellcouncil (Cherwell is a district in the United Kingdom, I looked that up too)

  5. @USPBGC (this the official Twitter account for an organization called “The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation” in the United States; I have no idea what they do but it seems to be government-related and important)

  6. @econsarnai (this seems to be a nice young lady from Mongolia(?), maybe connected to item #1(?), but I can’t read the description and I don’t know who she is and what she does; she has 12,600 followers, though, which means that she probably is big in Mongolia)
