I meant photos of whoever okayed a second season.
Upon reading thread title: Why? All the supposed talent out in L.A. and this is the best they come up with? Why???
There is only a finite supply of good comedy writers out there and a lot of demand. Not only network but cable and movies have a lot of demand for writers. I suspect there is also a shortage of producers that can actually tell what is good and what material sucks or even one more remove for executives that actually can tell which producers suck.
I suspect that no matter how much comedy is on television, you are going to have only have a dozen shows at most that don’t suck. The suckiness can move around as shows are cancelled, writers burn out and move to other shows.
Apparently I’m one of the few people in the Western world who likes the show - I overheard someone the other day describing it as Urban Dictionary: The Sitcom, which I thought was both funny and not all that far off the mark, either.
Anyway, I’m glad to hear there’s another series coming.
It’s a bit raunchy and the girls are kind of hot. It’s plenty enough from CBS’ perspective to keep people tuned in between two established shows.
