Two Days Of BEEEEEEEEP ... or ... I'm A Nerd

By the time you graduate high school, you will have heard the bell ring 151804 = 10,800 times. If you took zero period all four years, the number increases to 12,240. I vaguely remember hearing once that the bell is 4 seconds long. If that’s true, you’ve spent at least (10,800*4/60)/60 = 12 hours listening to that beeeeeeeep. Adding zero period back in gives you about 13 and a half hours. That’s the equivalent of almost two complete school days of beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. And that’s just during high school, which is only about a third of your k-12 school career.

These calculations are approximate. Several factors have not been considered, but the numbers should be fairly close.

Jeez! Now that I think about it, I’ve listened to my Snooze Alarm for approximately 5 complete years!

and I’ve been asleep for 12 years, 36 days 8 hours and 2 1/2 minutes.

yawn, stretch, smack,smack

…did I miss anything?
