Fair enough - I stand corrected.
The person who was killed by the assailant was an armed security officer, the other person who was shot was an armed US Marshall.
Seven Marshalls and security officers pursued the assailant and shot him.
You just cannot protect against all possibilities that a determined crazy might try. There doesn’t seem to be any lapse of security or lack of armed officers present.
Some of us have friends in federal law enforcement, so this kind of news does give pause to wonder how close to home the tragedy may hit.
Perhaps the mods might move this thread to MPSIMS and leave the Pit to complaints about software and public art.
