Both quite reasonable, IMO, and calculated to raise the tone and value of these boards. Kudoes to all involved.
And of course I would encourage the subjects of both actions to accept the mod action in a desire to improve their performance hereabouts.

John Mace, what do you see as the purpose of Shodan’s post? I don’t see it as important information for board members. People who care probably saw the original mod actions. I think Shodan is happy this happened and wanted to rub it in a little. YMMV.
