Two truths and a lie.

Perhaps Sublight used a camera to shoot the President?!

Anyway I have been trodden on by an elephant.
We were both young and at a zoo. Something startled it and it stepped backwards onto my foot. It didn’t hurt much, because its foot was so big, but I was trapped until the keeper moved the elephant.

That leaves for me:

(I’ve been trodden on by an elephant. TRUE)
I’ve been used as a UK TV trailer.
I’ve travelled with royalty in torn T-shirt and jeans.

  1. I was attacked by a bear in New Mexico.
  2. My best friend in college and I have “shared” five sexual partners, at different times, without the intention to do so. The exception being when we had a threesome with his still-current GF. Because of that, we haven’t spoke in almost a year.
  3. I have had plays I wrote performed on stage.

Two truths and a lie…

  1. I have had a conversation with Michael Chiklis
  2. I have had a conversation with Doris Roberts
  3. I have had a conversation with Laurence Fishburne

 How can I get into Canadian college?

I think Number 3 is false, because I really want to hear the stories behind Nos 1 and 2.

Well since no one wants to take a guess at post #7 ( :frowning: ) I’ll just come out and say that I have no real fear of staplers.

Wrong. Since no one else seemed to have interest in mine, I shall reveal the correct answer as being #3.

I’m going to say #2 is a lie, mostly because I have no idea who Michael Chiklis and Doris Roberts are, and one sounds as good to me as another.

Heh, good guess. She is most famous for being the mother on Everybody Loves Raymond and while she did dine in the restaurant I was working at, I didn’t actually interact with her.

Michael (The Shield and other) I met at a greek restaurant. Laurence I met outside a bar in West Hollywood and we had a great chat.

For Antinor01 . . . I’d pick #3. (Edited to add: Ooorrrr, I could read the previous post and not the one several before it. . .) :smack:

A) I’ve been featured on the Pentagon Channel
B) I’ve been to war thrice, and have been directly shot at twice.
C) I’ve wandered and built on an old, live Soviet bomb dump.

Tripler
Oooh, the choices the choices.

Numero uno. 2 is too complicated, that has to be true. Wait, you’re biomechanical engineering or something like that, I’ll change to 3.

  1. I was the highest scorer on the ACT in my graduating class.
  2. I’ve been on the cover of a Chicago area phone book.
  3. I’ve had an essay displayed in a Chicago museum.

I’m gonna pick #2.

BTW…there’s a Pentagon channel? I grew up in the DC area and I’ve never heard of this.

That one’s true. I was a baby.

ChrisBooth I think #1 is false.

mine:

  1. My college graduation was attended by William Jefferson Clinton.
  2. I’ve known my husband since high school.
  3. My grandmother is 47 years old.

Number 2!

  1. I’ve only ever had one job.
  2. I’ve only ever had one SO
  3. I’ve only ever had one car.

Since I’ve had only one SO and have never owned a car, but have had several jobs, I find #1 the hardest to believe. I’d guess there are more people (even discounting very young children) who have never had a job than have had exactly one.

Three more for me:

  1. One of my high school classmates was killed in the attack on the USS Stark.

  2. One of my high school classmates was killed in the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

  3. One of my high school classmates killed his wife and children in a shopping mall parking lot and then committed suicide by turning the gun on himself.

essel, you’re right. I met my husband freshman year of college.

I think your lie is you’ve only ever had one SO. I think the only 1 job thing is true precisely because it’s so difficult to believe.

Let me try a harder set…

  1. I once considered a career in theatre.
  2. I was a trombone soloist in college.
  3. I have performed an exorcism.

FWIW, I’m still waiting to hear the hamster story.

I’d say #2 is the lie. I’ve been wanting to play this!

  1. I’ve never eaten a Big Mac.

  2. I’ve never owned a credit card.

  3. I’ve never been on a plane.

I highly recommend it! I have played trombone since 4th grade. And sophomore year of college was my first (and only) full solo – 7 minutes long!

So we have…

  1. I once considered a career in theatre.
    2. I was a trombone soloist in college. – TRUE
  2. I have performed an exorcism

Woman of Scorn, I think you have been on a plane. #3 is my guess for your lie.

WomanOfScorn, if it’s #3, I envy you.
