I’ve never had a corndog. Or any variety of Hamburger Helper. I’m 47 and had my first (and last) sno-cone about 5 years ago. I’ve never had coffee, sushi, or lobster. I’ve probably had liver, but if so, I can’t remember it. It’s not “never”, but in the last 38 years I haven’t eaten an egg that wasn’t disguised in brownies or other baked goods. Boiled, fried, poached, scrambled or in a quiche - no way.
Raw oysters - nope. Fried, sure; steamed, sure. Raw - no way.
I’ve lived my whole life until last year in the Southern United States but I’ve never had chitterlings. (That’s “chitlins,” y’all). I have no plans to ever try them either.
And although I’ve lived in Budapest for almost a year now, I’ve not had the gulyás yet. (That’s “goulash,” y’all.) But it is not outside the realm of possibility, as are the above-mentioned items.
