Typing/Keyboarding program for a second grade 8 year old

Academic challenge time. I need to find a typing/keyboarding learning program that is age appropriate to rack up 6 hours of tutorial time. I would also like bambina to actually start to learn to type.

Bambina likes WebKidz, DreamBox, etc.

Prefer free but don’t mind paying for a stand alone or online program.

Any suggestions or recommendations?

The BBC schools website has Dance Mat Typing, we use this at school to get the children started, they seem to like it!

It’s free, but not I’m not sure it can be described as a course.

Mavis Beacon worked for me when I was around that age. You’ll have to buy it (around $20), and they have software for kids.
