*uck you, Yahoo!

Zette, I share your concern. But what the fuck does “*uck” mean? It’s FUCK, goddammit!

Yahoo (or Yahell, as I will now refer to them) and HotMail (now HotFail) are both substandard. In addition, don’t get me started on AOL (now known as AOHell)

Yahell failed in trying to make themselves so big, they can’t run anything decently! I use Y! messenger. I would log on many times before with my ID, and no problems. Now, I have to log in with 2 other yahoo IDs, and then log out, just to talk to my friends and business contacts.

Also, Yahell DID sell my e-mail address. They had to have. Nobody had my Yahell e-mail, and I only signed up for . (but then again, if you want to try and guess for somebody’s yahell account, just try this_yahoo_id@yahoo.com, and if it works, then Hey! You just got their account!

I also know that Yahell is not secure, due to the fact that my password has been retrieved from their servers many times. I now change my password every week, and my account is secure once again.

Now, for HotFail, half the time they work, but my e-mail doesn’t get sent or recieved. The other half, I can’t access the fucking thing, but I receive emails just fine.

As a resort, I use Freeze.com, as well as Visto.com. Visto.com doesn’t sell your name. Neither does Freeze.com.

Now, as for AOHell… don’t even take me there. (Why would you pay more for less? shrugs his shoulders)

Maybe if we all boycotted Yahell, HotFail, and AOHell, they
would get it into their heads that they need to improve their services.

Sorry for my ranting. This is a topic me, and MANY others in my field agree upon. Good day!

No shit! Boy did that ever piss me off. I have never given my Yahoo (nor my Hotmail) address to anyone I don’t trust, let alone posted on some site or signed up for stuff with it, etc. I never got junk mail until the very day they set up my “bulk mail” folder. It was pretty obvious to me that they sold/gave my address to somebody. I don’t know the number of e-mails I sent asking them about it, asking for an explanation, etc. but all I ever got back was a canned response explaining that they set up the “bulk mail” to protect me from the spam.
HELLO! I wasn’t even getting it until you stepped in, Yahoo jerks! Grr.
