Well, to be fair, Baghdad does have a population of five million people, and finding one person in a city of five million, especially when he’s taking active measures not to be found, isn’t easy.

Supposedly they are negotiating, but the US is playing hardball (as they should). The word is he is seriously fearing for his life, thinking Iraqis will kill him on sight, so he wants to go into US protection.
