Man, what a bummer about GSP! Although Serra seems like a decent enough guy. But that’s the beauty of MMA. Anybody can lose on any given fight especially since you don’t get 8 counts to let you regain your composure.
I like them both so it didn’t really bother me if either won. I was highly shocked that Serra won, though. Especially that he won with strikes and that fast.
That’s what I love about this sport. Even the best of the best have to be 100% on their game because ANYBODY could end ANY match in a nanosecond. Similarly, how many fights have you seen where some guy dominates the entire match, gets complacent then in one split second gets submitted by his battered opponent.
