At least it saves us the time it takes to check the weather report. It’ll be sunny and heat-stroke until October.
Here in central Washington, through the entire month of May and the first two weeks of June, the sunny/rainy days lined up perfectly with my work/off days, respectively. Especially bizarre (and inspiring conspiracy theories) considering I work conventions/catering and have a completely different work schedule and different days off every week.
And for this area, it’s absolutely ridiculous when it’s the middle of June and I have to turn on my space heater in the morning.
Urgh! It’s currently 99 degrees F, and about 112% humidity in inland SE Georgia. Outdoors feels - literally - like a sauna. I tried to walk the dogs about an hour ago, but both stuck their snouts outside, paused, and gave me looks that clearly implied that they’d hold it, tyvm. I don’t mind the delay, but now I have to carefully time their constitutional so that we avoid the late evening thunderstorms that are becoming inevitable.
