Very bad day. Moving house (both signing contract and actually moving my stuff over), doing two university assignments, very busy.
A pre pay meter key is used to top up a meter, so I need to get one. I phoned up the company and they gave me a code, “just go to any Payzone or Paypoint retailer”, they said. Rubbish. Been to several now, most don’t do them, the co-op only does British Gas ones, the Jet station had the right ones but they wouldn’t work, supposedly because they were more than 3 years old.
Tomorrow I’m off to follow up a lead I got from Jet, and I’ll phone up the electric company to try and badger them into giving me some accurate information, but is there anyway to find out how to get one otherwise? I certainly can’t find one on google and the payzone and paypoint websites just say phone your electric company, which is how I got into this mess.
