Hell of a player - ran the table while I was away from the TV for 10 minutes.
But still, a serious looking Mr Bean!

Second century off the break! Amazing.
130 for Mr Bean off the break.
And wins another frame!
But Selby takes the championship.
He does sometimes pull some funny facial expressions (usually after missing a pot) and I can see the resemblance, but Ronnie is slightly less socially awkward than Mr Bean these days :).
Unfortunately I missed yesterday’s final, having seen most of the O’Sullivan/Fu semi-final the day before. Easy to say after the event, but Ronnie was clearly making more mistakes than usual and I thought Selby would beat him. In my view, particularly in recent years it looks to me like Ronnie only hits his best form when he really has to (his century in the decider against Fu being a prime example). A lot of the time I think he doesn’t care that much if he wins or loses. And it’s hard to blame him - he is clearly the greatest natural talent the game has ever seen, he doesn’t need the money or the game (already has bags of both), and unlike others such as Hendry he’s not fussed about chasing records. If you know that you have more talent in your ‘wrong’ hand than 99% of other professionals (note, not players - pros) have in their ‘correct’ hand, why do you care about proving it time and again? Against Selby, waiting until your back is against the wall before upping your game isn’t going to work, as Selby will just beat you. Kudos to him for doing so, and they both seem like very nice people to boot.
