What player from a sport that you don't personally follow do you admire?

As the title suggests, which people from sports that you don’t know too much about do you admire?

As an Aussie, I know very little about Wayne Gretzky or Ice Hockey as a whole, for example. I do know that the man was freakishly good, and I’d be interested in watching any videos of his exploits that show his exquisite talent.

For me though, the most pure example of skill in a sport I don’t really follow or fully understand has to be Ronnie O’Sullivan. I’m a decent pool player, and I’ve played some snooker. I’ve never played billiards.

But I do know enough about cue-sports to know that Ronnie O’Sullivan scoring a perfect 147 in just over 5 minutes is an expression of human skill at its finest.

That is clearly a man with a truly sublime level of natural talent, honed to perfection by endless hours of practice, doing what only he can do.
