I have an old Ultrasonic fogger that won’t fog.
I like fixing things myself, so I opened the thing up, and on the face of it, everything seems to work.
I imagine I need to replace the ceramic disc, and it just won’t vibrate anymore, but I wanna make sure, as replacement discs can be quite pricey where I live.
My question is, does anyone know what voltage needs to be fed into the ceramic disc? I measured mine, and it’s only getting 1.5V AC. Is that the normal voltage for a fogger’s business end? Is my circuitry fried somewhere? Is it even really possible to measure the voltage, considering the high rate of pulsing needed to vibrate the disc?
