You should know that David Bowie and Freddie Mercury recorded an incredible song called “Under Pressure”. You should also know that this song was based on a Freddie Mercury song called “Feel Like”, which you can hear on YouTube. Both guys deserve credit, but respect where it came from.
I messed up the link. Here it is - Feel Like by Queen
A couple of years ago, the internet was apparently blown away by the voice only version of Under Pressure.
Review with you tube vid:
I like the song because it effortlessly segues between different perspectives, in the end joining or at least bridging them. The humanism of Bowie fits well with the egoism of Mercury. As I see it at least. Not to diss Mercury.
Remix: - YouTube
Bowie and Lennox:
Rock at its best, a fair approximation to genius.

More gushing: David Bowie and Queen’s “Under Pressure” is the greatest song he never put on an album.
Thread relocated to Cafe Society from IMHO.
The vocals without backing music was interesting. How was that done? Did that come from the original studio tapes, or is there software out there that’s somehow capable of distinguishing vocals from music in a single audio stream?
