(I’m posting in this forum, because I have no cite/hard evidence to back up this story)
If indeed the following story is true, is there anyone out there who could pass it on to legitimate authorities in Florida? Thanks
I’ve heard this story from two different people in NY - they are both from Guyana.
It seems that Florida is offering a sort of amnesty program, where undocumented people can get green cards, no questions asked. People are encouraged to ask their out-of-state relatives and friends to also come down to Florida and apply.
The only proviso is that they also must register to vote (I didn’t know people with green cards were eligible, but both of my friends swear this is true).
I’m slow on the uptake, so my friends had to explain what this meant. Since most of the people applying are from out of state, then obviously they would not be making the trip back down to Florida on 11/2 to vote. So, there will be thousands of newly registered voters, who just coincidently will not be voting that day - nothing to stop others from voting for them.
My friends swore me to secrecy, since many of their relatives were still taking advantage of this very generous offer. I was told the program was to end on 10/24, so I’m free to discuss it now.
Could this possibly be true? If it is, then it should be broadcast everywhere.
I hope someone out there can confirm/refute this story.
Thanks,
