That happens to me all the time… “Ya know, there was a thread on {such-and-such a subject} on the SDMB…” And now that I’ve converted a few of my friends to the boards, I carry on all sorts of conversations with them that my other friends have absolutely no clue whatsoever to their content… BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh, and I’ve been using “Dopeisms” in my daily conversation, like “dreck” (well, it’s a Dopeism for me!) and “Hi Opal” and references to “famous” threads [sub]Dragon Shadow never lets me forget the time I tore up Rue DeDay’s house with Zoogirl and Bobkitty…[/sub], thus bringing the conversation to a screeching halt as I explain to the ignorants precisely what the reference means. :fond :rolleyes::
